The best GoHighLevel alternative depends on what you run. Agencies managing many client accounts should usually stay on GoHighLevel, but a single business has better-fitting options. Systeme.io has the lowest flat price, Kartra suits creators, and HubSpot Starter suits sales-led teams. DashNex fits if you want usage-based pricing and a deployment you own.
What GoHighLevel costs in 2026#
All prices in this post come from each vendor's own pricing page, checked in November 2026. Vendors change plans often, so confirm before you buy.
GoHighLevel's pricing page lists three self-serve plans, each with a 14-day trial. Starter is $97 a month, described as "for one business or a few clients", with three sub-accounts. Unlimited is $297 a month, and the top plan is $497, labelled Founder on the page and Pro in its FAQ. Enterprise pricing is by quote.
The plan fee is not the whole bill. HighLevel's pricing guide (updated 29 October 2026) sets email at $0.675 per 1,000 sends on every plan. Phone and SMS run at Twilio's rates, and AI Employee add-ons cost $20 to $97 a month per location (or pay-per-use). WordPress hosting starts at $10 a month per site.
Here is a simple worked example. A single business on Starter that sends 40,000 emails a month pays $97 plus $27 in email usage. That is $124 a month, or $1,488 a year, before any calls, texts or AI.
Where GoHighLevel is the right choice#
GoHighLevel is very good at the job it was built for. If you run marketing for 10 or 50 client businesses, it is hard to beat. Unlimited adds a white-label desktop app and unlimited sub-accounts. The $497 plan adds SaaS mode for reselling the platform under your own brand, and usage rebilling to clients with a markup.
Spread across many clients, $297 a month is a small cost per account. If that is your business, stay where you are.
Why owner-operators look elsewhere#
A single business pays for agency machinery it may never use: sub-accounts, client rebilling and resale. It also gets two bills, a flat plan and a usage line, so the monthly cost is less predictable than the headline suggests.
The third reason is ownership. On any hosted all-in-one, your contacts, pages and automations live inside the vendor's account. That works until you want to leave, and then the export is the only copy you control.
GoHighLevel alternatives compared#
Starting prices are the lowest published plan on each vendor's pricing page in November 2026. "Vendor-hosted" means your data lives in the vendor's shared platform and you export it to leave.

How each alternative fits#
No platform wins every row of that table. Here is where each one is the better choice, and where it isn't.
Kartra: hosted funnels and memberships for creators#
Kartra's pricing page starts at $59 a month for Essentials, but read the limits. Essentials caps you at 500 contacts, one membership and a 5% fee on sales. Starter, at $119 a month ($99 billed yearly), removes the sales fee and adds unlimited memberships and video hosting.
That fee matters more than the sticker price. At $3,000 a month in sales, a 5% fee is $150 a month, more than the Starter plan itself. Pick Kartra if you sell courses and want pages, video and memberships under one fixed bill. Skip it if your list will pass its contact tiers quickly, since each jump is a large step up.
Systeme.io: the cheapest way to start#
Systeme.io has a free plan with 2,000 contacts, three sales funnels, one course and unlimited email sends. Paid plans run $17, $47 and $97 a month, with two months free on annual billing. It takes 0% of your sales on every plan.
For a solo creator testing an idea, this is hard to argue with. It is also a better pick than DashNex for anyone who wants a fixed bill that never moves. The trade-off is the same as Kartra's: your business lives inside a shared platform, on its terms.
HubSpot Starter: a CRM-first path#
HubSpot Starter is normally $20 per seat per month. New customers can get $7 per seat with annual payment, or $10 month-to-month. Starter includes marketing, sales, service and content tools, with up to 30 website pages and 30 landing pages.
HubSpot is the better choice for a sales-led team with a real pipeline. Its CRM and app marketplace are deep, and you can grow into Professional tiers without moving. The catch is the seat model. Five people at the regular rate is $100 a month before any upgrades, and the higher tiers cost far more.
DashNex: usage-based and owned#
DashNex is the platform we build on, and we are an Authorized Partner, so weigh our view with that in mind. It bundles contacts and CRM, email marketing, checkouts, and member pages with video hosting. It also includes AI customer support with live handoff to your team. Each business runs on its own dedicated deployment.
DashNex describes its model as no monthly fees. You buy DashNex Credits for cloud services, AI usage and emails sent, plus a small per-transaction fee on payments, and credits don't expire. The bill tracks volume: send little and you pay little, send a lot and it rises with you. Our DashNex page has the full feature list.
Where it falls short: DashNex runs one deployment per business, so it does not copy GoHighLevel's agency sub-account model. Its ecosystem is smaller than HubSpot's, and a usage bill moves month to month, which some owners dislike. Pick it if you run one business and want the stack in your own deployment. If you need features it doesn't have yet, we cover custom DashNex modules separately.
How to compare flat plans with usage-based pricing#
Sticker prices mislead in both directions. A $59 plan can cost more than a $119 plan once a sales fee applies. A platform with no monthly fee can also cost more than a flat plan at high volume. Run this comparison before you move.
- Pull three months of real volumes. Contacts, emails sent, orders, revenue, AI chats and team seats. Our small business SaaS audit walks through collecting them.
- Price the tier your contact count needs. Most flat plans step up by contacts, not features.
- Add usage charges. On GoHighLevel, email is $0.675 per 1,000 sends, plus phone and AI. On DashNex, credits cover cloud, AI and email.
- Add transaction fees. A 5% fee on $3,000 a month is $1,800 a year.
- Add one-off migration costs. Rebuilding pages, moving automations and re-importing contacts all take time or money.
- Compare 12-month totals. Use the yearly figure, never the monthly headline.
Which GoHighLevel alternative should you choose?#
Match the platform to the business you run, not the feature list you might use one day.
- You run an agency with many clients: stay on GoHighLevel. Its sub-accounts, white labelling and rebilling are built for you.
- You are a solo creator on a tight budget: start on Systeme.io's free plan and upgrade when you outgrow it.
- You sell courses and want one fixed bill: Kartra Starter, once you are past the Essentials limits.
- You have a sales team and a pipeline: HubSpot Starter, with a plan for what higher tiers will cost.
- You run one business and want to own the stack: DashNex, with usage-based credits and your own deployment.

FAQ#
What is the best GoHighLevel alternative for a small business?#
It depends on how you sell. Systeme.io is the cheapest start, with a free plan and paid plans from $17 a month. Kartra suits course creators, HubSpot Starter suits sales-led teams, and DashNex suits one business that wants usage-based pricing. Agencies managing many clients are usually better off staying on GoHighLevel.
Is there an all-in-one business platform with no monthly fee?#
DashNex describes its model as no monthly platform fee. You pay DashNex Credits for cloud services, AI usage and emails sent, plus a small per-transaction fee on payments, and credits don't expire. Systeme.io also has a free plan, but its paid tiers are flat monthly fees. Either way, model your real volumes before assuming no fee means a lower bill.
Does GoHighLevel charge extra for emails and texts?#
Yes. HighLevel's pricing guide, updated in October 2026, sets email at $0.675 per 1,000 sends on all plans. Phone calls and SMS are billed at Twilio's rates, and AI features are either monthly add-ons per location or pay-per-use. On the $297 and $497 plans, agencies can pass these costs on to their clients.
Is Systeme.io a good Kartra alternative?#
For many solo creators, yes. Systeme.io starts free, and its paid plans run $17 to $97 a month with unlimited email sends and 0% transaction fees. Kartra costs more but includes video hosting and unlimited memberships from its $119 Starter plan. If budget comes first, start with Systeme.io; if hosted video matters, compare Kartra Starter.
Can I move off GoHighLevel without losing my data?#
Usually, but plan it. Export contacts with tags and custom fields, then list every pipeline, automation, form and page you rely on, because automations rarely transfer as files. Run the old and new platforms side by side for one billing cycle. Check which payment account holds your subscribers' cards before you cancel anything.
